Writing Persuasive Essays
HW: RJ 13.1-13.4
D/FAIL notices due Thursday!
Gustavo read his blog and then I asked for reading journals. We started a new page in our notebooks about writing persuasive essays. Then students wrote what persuasive writing does: convinces, argues, provides reasons for an idea or issue.
Then we put A for Agree and D for disagree about 8 statements about lying and liars.
We read two articles about lying and wrote notes.
